Relax on our large four-season porch as you enjoy a beautiful sunset view over Otsego Lake, an all-sport lake located directly across the street. The swimming beach and picnic area are very clean and well maintained.

There are over 24 award winning premier golf courses within a 10-45 minute drive. Marsh Ridge Country Club is 1/4 mile North of the cottage. Gaylord is also home to 90 small lakes, major rivers and the Pigeon River State Forest -where hiking and biking trails run throughout the park's 105,000 acres! The winter months provide great snowmobiling with over 300 miles of groomed snowmobile trails; in fact, Gaylords main trail is right across the street from the house. The average snowfall annually is 150-180 inches, which makes for very reliable snow conditions for those winter enthusiasts. Gaylord is located in the center of Northern (Lower) Michigan's snow belt and is surrounded by rolling hills and thousand of acres of forests.
